Life isn´t a fairy-tale. Life is more like a pick-your-own-adventure story, with divergent paths and choices along the way. If only! What if? Maybe you´ll have the two kids you planned or the five you didn´t, or you won´t and that ´ll be ok. Maybe you´ll get a water birth at home with candles. Maybe you´ll get a caesarean birth in hospital with screens and scrubs. What you need is information, about how your body works and what it´s capable of. Venture on! ~ Kate Evans
Over the course of two weekends we´ll be exploring all things pregnancy, birth and early times with your baby. These antenatal classes are designed to bring you evidence-based information, in a relaxed, non-judgemental, and positive atmosphere.
The hormones of labour and what makes birth “work”; writing your birth plan(s); knowing your rights; types of birth; the postpartum, etc, are some of the topics that we will be working on, besides many others.
