Laughter Yoga Workshop ~ with Johanna
When was the last time you had a good laugh? Let go of physical and emotional tension. Boost your immune system and feel more light-hearted and joyful!
Laughter Yoga is a practise, involving prolonged voluntary laughter that provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter.
We will stretch, chant and use breathing techniques, laughter exercises and childlike playfulness to release tension. Learn how to do these exercises on a regular basis and you will bring more joy into your life!
Johanna is a passionate traveller and surfer and has been practising yoga for over 10 years. After travelling the world, experimenting with different yoga styles and methods and eventually her travels brought her to the country of origin of yoga, India. She completed her yoga teacher training with Trimurti Yoga School (RYS Yoga Alliance) in the beautiful Himalayan mountain province of Dharamsala in India. She is excited to share her experience and the benefits of yoga and laughter with you. Johanna loves being out in nature; be it surfing in the ocean or hiking in the mountains, she loves meeting new people from different places all over the world who have a passion for the things they love.

Soul Journey ~ Voz e Xamanismo
In tune with our Intuition, our Voice and Shamanic Guidance we will connect with our Essence and Our Soul.
To the beat of the drum we synchronise our Heart Beat with the Beat of Mother Earth, taking us to a place of inner peace and healing.
In this workshop we will connect with our Essence through meditation, setting the intention to expand within to receive the healing shamanic journey. Though practices of breath, voice, and authentic movement we will deepen our connection with ourselves and share our intentions in a circle around our altar.
Sofia is a therapist, a lecturer and a facilitator. As a registered voice movement therapy practitioner (VMTR), Anna has found that the playful nature of Voice Movement Therapy encourages people to unfold their personal stories in guided voice movement journeys.
In her individual sessions she assists her clients in connecting with their authenticity through movement and voice, inviting them to create their own little poems and life songs. She also runs weekly groups indoors, providing a safe playground for profound and creative self-expression.

Rest & Restore ~ with Nadia Walji
Nadia is offering a therapeutic, healing workshop designed to help you let go of physical, mental or emotional tension held in the body.
This practice offsets the business of our day to day lives and provides us with a space to find peace, quiet and stillness within.
This is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga practiced lying down in various shapes held by props such as cushions, blankets and blocks to support the body. When the body feels supported it gives the nervous system feedback that it is okay to relax. This allows the nervous system to shift from 'fight or flight' mode to a state of 'rest and digest'.
The latter part of the workshop will incorporate techniques from Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep. This is a guided relaxation in Savasana to induce full body relaxation and a meditative state of consciousness.
This practice is available to all ages and levels of experience.
Nadia was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. After being introduced to Yoga in 2004 and practicing for a few years, she felt compelled to pursue teacher training in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga to deepen her understanding of the practice.
In 2015, she completed an additional 200 hours of Yoga Teacher training in Hatha Yoga and further specialized in Meditation with Michael Stone, Restorative and Yoga Nidra with Michele Theoret and Yin Yoga with Joe Barnett. She offers regular classes at Yoga Tree and partners with Lululemon from time to time in downtown Toronto.
Nadia's classes are open to all ages and levels as they are tailored to people who are looking for a gentle introduction to a mindful practice focusing on breath, stillness and self awareness.

Feeling tired, anxious or stressed? Always on the run with endless to do’s? Come join Arina for a lovely sunday morning of Restorative Yoga. She has carefully designed a practice, which will help you let go, become grounded and feel at ease in body and mind.
To rest and relax is essential, especially in our high paced society. Restorative Yoga is an antidote to the stresses of our lives and provides us with a moment of quietness and peace. In Restorative Yoga our body is fully supported, in comfortable and effortless postures, which will allow our entire nervous system to shift from a “fight/flight mode” to a state of ease and calm.
Who can join? Everyone is welcome, being new to yoga or experienced yoginis or yogis, teachers as well.
Arina's background in contemporary dance, physiotherapy and yoga has allowed her to work with rehabilitation through movement for many years. She is very passionate about sharing practices, which help bring more calm and peace into our lives. Her training includes, among others, a bachelor in Physiotherapy and studies in Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater (Relax & Renew®) & Miila Derzett (Método Restaurativo).
