Breathwork for Women in Peri-menopause & Menopause ~ with Steffi Haxel

​This Breathwork session is specifically designed for women in peri-menopause and menopause to support the physical and emotional challenges of this life phase.

With targeted breathing techniques, we promote hormonal balance, relieve symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and mood swings, and help restore emotional equilibrium. This session is a journey to relax the body and mind, release emotional blockages, and enhance well-being.

Purpose of the Session:
  • to relief menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and mood swings.
  • to improve emotional balance and reduce stress in order to better cope with hormonal changes.
  • Strengthening self-confidence and inner balance through breathwork.
  • Releasing physical blockages and emotional tensions that may be exacerbated by hormonal changes.
  • Improvement in quality of life and support of the natural healing process through breathwork.

Session Structure
Welcome, Check-In & Sharing:
  • Warm welcome and a brief introduction to the session, including the benefits of breathwork during peri-menopause/menopause.
  • A round where each participant shares where they currently stand and which issues or challenges are most present for them (e.g., physical symptoms like hot flashes, emotional stress, or general tension).
  • Opportunity for open sharing to discover commonalities within the group, fostering a sense of connection and support for each other.

Grounding exercises to arrive

Guided Breathwork - Blockages in the body and mind are released through conscious, deep breathing. Breathwork is specially tailored to the needs of menopausal women:
  • Calming the nervous system: reducing stress and hot flushes.
  • Regulation of hormones: breathing techniques to support hormonal balance.
  • Relief of sleep disorders: Promoting relaxation and rest.
  • Increasing energy and vitality: by releasing physical tension and improving blood circulation.

Integration & Reflection
  • Guided relaxation: time to process the breathing work and integrate the experiences. Participants can relax and feel the newly gained energy.
  • Space for reflection: Participants are invited to share their impressions and reflect on how the session has changed their physical and emotional state.
