Emotional Bodywork with Caroline

Emotional Bodywork is a therapeutic approach that bridges body and mind. It understands that stress and trauma don’t exist only in our thoughts — they live in the body, shaping how we move, breathe, and potentially translate into physical pain or health issues.
During a session, Caroline combines active listening with conscious touch to help the body unwind and the mind find quiet again.

Each session focuses on:
  • De Armoring — releasing layers of tension created by stress.
  • Regulating the nervous system — guiding the body from alertness and anxiety into rest and ease.
  • Emotional integration — opening space for unspoken emotions to be felt, expressed, and released.​

Who it's for

This work is especially supportive for people experiencing stress or pressure, such as:
  • People suffering from unresolved situations and trauma preventing them to live fully
  • Expats and newcomers managing the challenges of change and adaptation.
  • Executives and entrepreneurs carrying the weight of responsibility and the difficulty of switching off.

How a session unfolds

Sessions are conducted exclusively in English and French with your clothes on. The first session lasts about 90 minutes; follow ups are 60–75 minutes. After a short conversation to understand your context, Caroline works on your body, using traditional Japanese touch techniques (Anma and Ampuku) that helps the body release stored trauma and chronic tension. Each session closes with a few quiet minutes to integrate and ground the experience.

Clients often describe a lasting sense of calm, clarity, and presence — a feeling of coming home to themselves.

Caroline Depirou
After more than twenty years working with international companies in France and the Middle East — often alongside Boards and C‑Suite leaders — Caroline reached a turning point. She realized that what truly inspired her was not organizational change, but human resilience.
She knows firsthand the pressure and constant motion of life on the go, induced by demanding corporate roles or social pressure. This made her understand how the body quietly builds its own armor to cope or develops sometimes painful defence mechanisms. Becoming a mother and starting over in new countries gave her a deeper insight into the vulnerability and strength that come with transition, belonging, and self‑care. 

Today, Caroline brings together her life experience and her therapeutic training to create a grounded, safe space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and restore balance.
