Anna Grabner - Your Voice Moves

Anna Grabner
Move, Sound, Sing, Release! 
 
On leaving her Austrian roots behind after nearly three decades, Anna moved closer to the ocean, to Portugal, in 2011. With a passion for music (voice, piano, songwriting) and a background as a practicing psychologist, she was drawn to the idea of linking the two fields and found an inspiring match in voice movement therapy (VMT). Eager to learn more about this body oriented voice work, she travelled to South Africa in 2012, where she completed the VMT foundation training in 2013.

As a registered voice movement therapy practitioner (VMTR), Anna has found that the playful nature of VMT encourages people to unfold their personal stories in guided voice movement journeys.

In her individual sessions she assists her clients in connecting with their authenticity through movement and voice, inviting them to create their own little poems and life songs. She also runs weekly groups indoors, providing a safe playground for profound and creative self-expression.

Motivated by the beautiful coastline of Lisbon, she regularly takes people to the waterfront to explore their inner voice and movement in her beach sessions “Dance with your shadow and sound with the ocean".

​She recently discovered the beauty of thai yoga massage, which she is beginning to integrate into her body-oriented voice work.

Moreover, since becoming a mother she has begun offering prenatal singing classes and accompanying women and couples in preparation for birth. She feels deeply about supporting mothers in their newly found role and therefore created “sisterhood song circles”, a safe and empowering space where women can meet regularly to share their experiences in song and dance.

Move-te, Canta, Liberta!

Depois de quase três décadas na montanhosa Áustria, Anna abraçou o oceano de Portugal em 2011.

Apaixonada pela música (canto, piano e composição) e com formação profissional em Psicologia encontrou na VMT, a combinação perfeita nas duas áreas de vocação. Motivada em aprender mais sobre a sua nova descoberta viajou até a Africa do Sul em 2012. Integrando um curso prático de VMT na “International Association of Voice Movement Therapy”, oficializando a sua formação.

Como terapeuta credenciada em Terapia da Voz e Movimento, Anna descobriu a natureza recreativa da VMT, onde através de viagens guiadas ajuda as pessoas a revelar as suas histórias pessoais. 
Nas suas sessões individuais Anna guia-o de modo a conectar-se com o seu verdadeiro “eu”, através da criação de poemas e canções que retratam a narrativa da sua vida. Também organiza sessões de grupo regulares, criando uma onda profunda de criação lúdica em ambiente seguro e descontraído.

Motivada pelo som da bela e extensa costa portuguesa regularmente a usa como objecto de inspiração. Através de sessões na praia onde a exploração vocal e corporal é acompanhada pelas ondas e o toque da areia: “Dança com a tua sombra e canta com o oceano”.

Recentemente descobriu a Massagem Thai Yoga onde pretende integrá-la na vertente de expressão e conhecimento corporal da VMT.
Pessoalmente, a sua recente aventura na maternidade orientou o seu trabalho de VMT para sessões de canto pré-natal e acompanhamento de casais e mulheres na preparação para o parto. Apoia as mães durante a descoberta desta nova identidade, criando círculos de irmandade vocal, de modo a formar um espaço seguro e de poder no feminino onde as mulheres podem partilhar sua experiência e incertezas através da música e da dança.

Deepa Bidd - Forrest inspired Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga & Meditation and Pre/Post Natal Yoga and Core Support

Deepa Bidd
Deepa is a certified 300hr Forrest Yoga Teacher, an Advanced Clinical and Remedial Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist and Reflexologist. She is currently completing a 500hr advanced teacher training with Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine. As well as working privately, Deepa has worked for the NHS as a complementary therapist in oncology care.

Deepa has worked with a range of people from all walks of life: new mums, people with cancer and terminal illness, people who have suffered physical and emotional trauma. She has trained with leading practitioners and trainers in their fields including the JING Institute of Advanced Clinical Massage, Tony Porter (Advanced Reflexology Techniques), Mauricio Kruchik (Maternity & Pregnancy Reflexology) and Ana Forrest, the founder of Forrest Yoga. Deepa's experience and ongoing training has helped to develop an intuitive sense for locating restrictions in the body where, often, there is an emotional aspect attached. Her sessions focus on improving body awareness and creating more space and freedom in the body.

In November 2016, Deepa assisted a 200hr Foundation Yoga Teacher Training and in early 2017, Deepa completed a 10-day Vipassana meditation course. Having experienced the benefits of yoga and meditation, Deepa wishes to continue her work towards empowering individuals through their own practice.

É professora certificada de Yoga Forrest de 300h, e Terapeuta de Massagem clínica e curativa avançada, Aromoterapeuta e Reflexologista. Atualmente, encontra-se a finalizar uma formação avançada de professores de Yoga Medicine de 500h com a Tiffany Cruikshank. A par de trabalhar de forma independente, trabalhou para o Sistema Nacional de Saúde em Inglaterra, enquanto terapeuta complementar nos cuidados oncológicos.

Johanna Hellinger - Hatha Flow Yoga, Yin/Yang Yoga, Laughter Yoga

Johanna Hellinger, Yogana Lisboa
Johanna is a passionate yogi and surfer. She is a registered and experienced RYT 500 Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, a certified Thai Yoga massage therapist and Laughter Yoga leader. 

After quitting her Marketing job in Austria and travelling around the world Johanna started experimenting with different yoga styles and methods. In 2015 her travels brought her to India where she completed her first yoga teacher training with Trimurti Yoga school in the Himalayan mountain province of Dharamsala focusing on Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. Back in Lisbon she started teaching at Little yoga space Lisboa whilst training as a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner with Hadadi School of Thai Massage. In 2018 Johanna did further training in Goa, focusing on the Philosophy of 5 Elements from Ayurvedic & Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective.

Johanna loves being out in nature and in touch with the elements; be it surfing in the ocean, walking her dog in the park or hiking in the mountains. She likes to meditate, laugh and to meet people from different places all over the world. Yoga is the ultimate form of balance for Johanna, bringing focus, peace and harmony into every part of her daily life by practising and sharing.

From spring to summer Johanna organises outdoor Yoga classes with Rooftop Yoga Lisboa and hosts Yoga & Surf events. She also leads Laughter Yoga sessions and Yoga workshops at Little Yoga space.

Johanna é uma viajante apaixonada e surfista e pratica yoga há mais de uma década. Ela encontra-se registada e experiente enquanto professora de Yoga 500h na Yoga Aliance e é uma terapeuta de massagem Thai Yoga certificada e líder do Yoga do Riso.
Após deixar o seu trabalho na área de Marketing e viajar à volta do mundo, começou a experimentar diferentes estilos e métodos de yoga. Por fim, em 2015, uma das suas viagens levou-a até à India. Ela realizou uma formação de professores de vários estilos de yoga na Escola de Yoga Trimurti, na bela província de Dharamsala, das montanhas Himalaias, centrada nos estilos Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga e Yin Yoga. De regresso a Lisboa, começou a ensinar no Little Yoga Space, ao mesmo tempo que se formava enquanto terapeuta de massagem Thai Yoga com a Hadadi School of Thai Yoga Massage. A Índia voltou a chamá-la 3 anos depois, onde fez mais formação em Goa, centrada no Yoga dos 5 Elementos, Ayurveda & Medicina Tradicional Chinesa.

A Johanna adora estar junto da natureza e em contacto com os elementos; seja a surfar no oceano, a caminhar com o seu cão no parque ou a escalar montanhas. Ela gosta de rir e de conhecer pessoas de diferentes lugares de todo o mundo. O Yoga é a forma de equilíbrio perfeito para a Johanna, ao trazer foco, paz e harmonia a todas as partes da sua vida diária.

Na primavera e no verão, a Johanna organiza aulas yoga no exterior com o Rooftop Yoga Lisboa e eventos de yoga & surfe. No outono e inverno, realiza também sessões regulares de yoga do riso no Little Yoga Space.

Martina Vonkomerova - Yoga, Womb Yoga, Women's Circles

Martina Vonkomerova
Martina loves to explore the world and the unknown. Her background is in languages which she always thought to be a key to exploring diverse cultures and people with different mindsets and beliefs. When she discovered yoga, she realised it was a new key to the unknown and since then she’s been exploring the whole new universe within.

After completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Marco Peralta in 2015 she started to teach Hatha yoga. Sharing this journey with others makes her explore yoga from all different angles diving deeper into her own understanding of what yoga really means. Her passion to experience yoga from a more feminine point of view brought her to teachings of womb yoga. After completing a teacher training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli in 2017 she started to share these teachings with other women as she feels that they are very empowering and nourishing, bringing women to a deep connection with their bodies and life within, tapping into their inner wisdom.

In 2015 she came to discover Thai Yoga Massage and she immediately fell in love with this healing body art.  After completing her Thai Yoga Massage training with Katrin Heuser in 2016 she started to work as a practitioner. Since then she keeps taking more courses to learn more techniques and deepen her knowledge of this “Sacred dance”. What never stops to amaze her is how deeply it’s possible to connect to all aspects of our being through this work by giving our full presence to whatever there is.

Martina adora explorar o mundo e o desconhecido. Os seus estudos sempre se focaram em línguas, que ela considerava serem fundamentais para explorar outras culturas e conhecer pessoas com diferentes mentalidades e crenças. Quando ela descobriu o yoga, apercebia-se de que este era uma nova chave para a descoberta do desconhecido e desde então tem explorado um universo completamente novo dentro de si.
 
Depois de completar o seu curso de professora de yoga de 200 horas com o professor Marco Peralta decidiu começar a ensinar hatha yoga. A partilha deste caminho com outros permite-lhe explorar o yoga de diferentes ângulos e, consequentemente, um conhecimento ainda mais profundo do que o yoga realmente significa. A sua paixão por explorar o yoga de um ponto de vista mais feminino levou-a ao ensino do yoga do útero. Depois de ter completado um curso com Uma Dinsmore-Tuli em 2017, senti a necessidade de partilhar estes ensinamentos com outras mulheres, uma vez que sinto que estes são ensinamentos que nutrem e fortalecem as mulheres, trazendo-lhes uma maior conexão com os seus corpos, com o seu ser e sabedoria interiores.   
 
Em 2015, descobriu a Massagem Thai Yoga pela qual imediatamente se apaixonou. Depois de ter completado o seu curso com a professora Kathrin Heuser em 2016 começou a trabalhar como terapeuta. Desde então tem participado em mais cursos para aprender mais técnicas e aprofundar o seu conhecimento da “Dança Sagrada”. O que nunca para de lhe surpreender é o quão profundamente é possível ligarmo-nos a todos os aspetos do nosso ser através deste trabalho se dermos total atenção e presença ao que está diante de nós.

Peggy Ziehr - Pilates

Peggy Ziehr
Peggy started dance at the age of seven, but only later in life it was contemporary dance that opened her curiosity and understanding for her personal capacities and ways of moving. This eventually led her to teaching Pilates and Yoga. The combination of Pilates and Yoga helps to gain awareness and strength, and consequently also leads to changing habits. Peggy’s classes holistically strengthen the body and the mind and at the same time she encourages a sense of ease so that you are working with your body and not against it. Her respect for the diversity of human bodies continues to grow with every class she teaches and she keeps on following the path of offering individual support for individual beings. Everybody is different, so also every body is different.

A Peggy começou a dançar com 7 anos de idade, mas só mais tarde a dança contemporânea abriu a sua curiosidade e compreensão para as suas capacidades pessoais e formas de movimento. Isto por fim conduziu-a ao ensino de Pilates e Yoga. A combinação do pilates e do yoga ajuda a adquirir consciência e força, conduzindo, consequentemente, também à mudança de hábitos. As aulas da Peggy reforçam o corpo e a mente de forma holística ao mesmo tempo que ela encoraja a naturalidade de forma a que trabalhes com o teu corpo e não contra ele. O seu respeito pela diversidade dos corpos humanos cresce com todas as aulas que ensina fazendo com que continue a seguir o caminho em que oferece apoio individual para seres individuais. Robbie Cully - Hatha, Movement & Breath / Yin Yoga

Robbie Cully
To know Yoga is simply to experience it. Robbie has dedicated the last 6 years of his life to the understanding and practice of Yoga and its many threads after discovering it in his early twenties as he came out of a period of intense life challenges. To date he has completed over 600 hours of formal training which has ranged from classical Hatha Yoga as well as Teenage Development with Yoga to Somatic and Embodied practices. He teaches practices which are embodied in nature - that is according to him, simply a way of connecting to the awareness that resides in all of you and throughout you, not just in the headspace. His classes will harness your perceptions so that you can arrive to new, hidden places and then from here, your practice will emerge and unfold. Just as everything in the universe oscillates between states - including our thought patterns, our moods, emotions, and physical status - Yoga is unique in that it provides an underlying steadiness which tells us where we are at any given moment with increased clarity and fluidity. In a world that is exponentially growing, Yoga provides this anchor going forward and Robbie is delighted to share this practice with you.

Sandra Batista - Energising flow

Sandra Batista Yoga
Sandra is a certified Yoga Teacher, who has been living and teaching in London, until she recently moved back to her home country Portugal.

She has always been fascinated with movement and over a decade ago she decided to start exploring the mind-body connection that Yoga has to offer. This was an incredible journey of self-exploration and healing, as she suffered from severe anxiety and stress and Yoga has helped her to come back to a natural balance. And so she decided to share these incredible tools with others and help them on their own personal journey too.

She trained Vinyasa, Prana and Mandala inspired flow with the Aditya Yoga School and more recently Yin Yoga with Norman Blair. She's done several immersions on restorative Yoga and anatomy and is currently working towards her 500 hours certification with Alessandra Pecorella.

​Additionally she is also a massage therapist and Sound Practitioner.

Sandra é professora de Yoga, e após ter vivido e dado aulas em Londres, voltou por fim a terras lusas.

O fascínio pelo movimento já vem detrás e há cerca de uma decada, decidiu começar a estudar a ligação corpo-mente através da disciplina do Yoga. Esta tem sido uma viagem profunda de auto-conhecimento, e o Yoga tem tido um papel fundamental no seu próprio processo de regeneração e retorno a um estado mais equilibrado, em particular depois das crises de stress e ansiedade que sofreu em Londres. Por este motivo, decidiu aprofundar o estudo das terapias orientais, de forma a transmitir esse conhecimento e ajudar os outros.

Sandra fez formação nos estilos de Vinyasa, Prana e Mandala com a Aditya Yoga School e mais recentemente fez formação avançada de Yin Yoga com o Norman Blair, em Londres. Fez também vários intensivos em yoga restaurativo e anatomia e actualmente está a fazer a certificação de 500 horas com Alessandra Pecorella, também no Reino Unido. 

Sandra é ainda terapeuta de massagem tailandesa e terapeuta de som.

Susanne Mayer - Pilates

Susanne Mayer, Pilates
From early on Susanne had a passion for moving and especially for dance. Originally from Munich she moved to London to study Contemporary Dance. She graduated with a BA in Theatre Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and a MA in Dance Studies from Freie University in Berlin. She has worked as a performer, choreographer and dance teacher in the UK and Germany.

Having experienced the benefits of the Pilates method during her professional training, Susanne decided to become a Pilates instructor. She did her teacher training at BASI Pilates in Munich in 2010. Whilst living in Berlin, she gave regular classes in various studios. Further training included workshops in Fascia Pilates and Pilates for Women’s Health. 
She is also interested in other forms of physical expression and exercise including: Feldenkrais, Klein Technique, the Axis Syllabus/Fascia Training and Yoga. 
Susanne has been living in Lisbon since 2017. 

Susanne is a certified BASI Pilates Mat Work Teacher and gives regular Pilates classes since 2010. She works as a Dance Artist, performs and practices dramaturgy, holding a Bachelor in Theatre Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and a Master in Dance Studies from Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2017 she lives in Lisbon.

Desde sempre Susanne sentiu uma grande paixão pelo movimento especialmente pela dança. Originalmente de Munique mudou-se para Londres para estudar Dança Contemporânea. Licenciou-se com um Bachelor em Dança de Teatro no Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance em Londres e mais tarde fez um Mestrado em Estudos de Dança na Freie Universität Berlin. Trabalhou como performer, coreógrafa e professora de dança no Reino Unido e na Alemanha. 

Tendo entrado em contacto e beneficiado com o metódo de Pilates durante o seu curso, decidiu formar-se em BASI Pilates em Munique em 2010. Como professora de Pilates deu aulas regulares em Berlim de 2010 a 2017, ano em que se mudou para Lisboa. Além disso participou em workshops de Pilates para a Fascia e Pilates para a Saúde da Mulher.

Interessa-se também por outras formas da expressão física e exercísios como: Feldenkrais, Klein Technique, Axis Syllabus/Fascia Training and Yoga. 

Susanne vive em Lisboa desde 2017.
