Birth is a unique moment in the life of a woman. It's a moment of transition. Like a rite of passage, it's a moment before becoming a mother, it's a moment that will push you to your limits, it's a moment of full connection to body & baby, it's a moment that can be as alive as the biggest meditation of your life. The energy of birth comes to the body in order to birth your baby through it with each wave of contractions, as you turn inward. The techniques of yoga can help you through this transition. Using postures and movements, experiencing breathing exercises and relaxation tools, as well as visualisation & meditation. The idea is to help you explore what can work for you to tune in and relax. About Milagros Milagros has been a yoga teacher for more than 13 years, and since her daughter was born 7 years ago, her work has become more focused on motherhood. Milagros is a postpartum doula and one of the founders of Seed of Life, pre & postnatal care. |
