Art Collaborations at Little Yoga Space

We are very excited to be collaborating with you and to be displaying your art at Little Yoga Space very soon. So that we can represent your work properly and correctly on our communication channels, please fill in the below form. Section 1 of the form is all about the display of your pieces.

If you're also going to host an event or an activity related to your art, so that we can publish all the information about your activity at Little Yoga Space on our website and promote it accordingly, please fill in the details in Section 2. If you are NOT holding an activity, just fill in N/A (as some fields are mandatory).

Some important guidelines:
  • Please write the biography in THIRD PERSON (we will ask you to write it again if it's in first person)
  • Any photos you provide should be
    • in high resolution
    • have a minimum width of 1100 pixels
    • be clear of any graphics
    • free of any inappropriate content
    • free of any gallery/space logos or advertisements
Please ensure the images of your art pieces are saved as the title of the piece in the file name, NOT "image1.jpeg"

The art you can display:
In the STUDIO, total 4 pieces:
  • 1x larger piece
  • 3x smaller pieces
In the THERAPY SPACE, total 5 pieces:
  • 1x large table piece
  • 1x smaller (reception, behind the door)
  • 3x smaller (treatment room)

If you are offering an event or workshop:
  • For the event description, again, please write this in THIRD PERSON. Please address the student (using imperatives or 'You will learn....' for example) instead of 'I will guide you...' or 'I invite you...'. Or use a neutral form, for example 'The workshop begins with..'
  • A description would ideally include:
    • something about the wider issue, as to why this work matters
    • broadly what will actually happen in the workshop, so people know what they are signing up for
  • Try to keep it clear, succinct and with short sentences
  • Please don't make any promises that are not yours to make or "seven-step" people - this feels yucky and un-safe

For any questions that are not answered here, please reach out on [email protected]
Thank you!

Terms of agreement (version 15 May 2023)

You, the artist, will be responsible for providing all exhibits, appropriately mounted or framed, and to be present at the installation as well as de-rig at the agreed times.

You are also responsible for providing us with the accurate information for every piece, so we can create labels for each piece and an A5 info sheet about the exhibition.

You agree to make the pieces available for a minimum of 2 months.

We, Little Yoga Space, commit to promoting your exhibition by the following means:
  • entry on our dedicated Arts page on our website
  • inclusion in a minimum of two newsletters
  • at least three exclusive Social Media posts
  • hosting of an opening event if you wish
  • hosting a workshop with you if applicable during the time of your exhibition

We will pass any enquiries about any of the exhibited pieces on to you straight away.

For any sales resulting from the exhibition, we will take a 20% commission.

We will not take any responsibility for damage or loss of any of the pieces exhibited at Little Yoga Space.

For the installation, we will be responsible for:
  • providing adequate hanging fixtures in the walls for each piece (two screws or one nail per frame to allow for different frames)
  • producing a label for each piece
  • producing an A5 flyer for each space

Please download the current version of these terms for your safe-keeping here.

In case we will also be hosting a workshop with you, our general terms for activities at Little Yoga Space apply.
