Anxiety is just a little child, who has arrived in your space. It has not come to ruin you, or hurt you, but wake you up. It only wants to be acknowledged, held, allowed into the vastness of the moment

Embodied Trauma HealingEmbodied Trauma Healing sessions help you explore the underlying causes of whatever is troubling you in your daily life. Sessions take the form of a conversation to identify core issues followed by somatic enquiry and practices to help you feel, process and integrate what arises. Sometimes we will touch on past events that may be significant, but there’s no need to dwell in the past, because our unresolved trauma shows up in our life and relationships all the time.

Nervous System HealingThe baseline state of our nervous system has a huge impact on our life, especially our physical and psycho-emotional health, our relationship with ourselves and others, and how safe we feel. Signs of disregulation may include chronic stress, emotional reactivity and mood swings that are beyond our capacity to regulate, chronic fatigue, difficulty sleeping, auto-immune disease, and conditions that are often considered mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression.

How you feel in your body, how you move, how you breathe, and the baseline state of your nervous system - all are shaped by the entirety of your lived experience. In turn, the state of your nervous system will determine your experience of life, and your capacity to hold space for yourself and others when faced with challenging people and situations. Learn somatic practices to develop greater capacity for nervous system regulation, co-regulation and resilience, and the skills to create a more trauma-informed environment for your work, whether that’s 1:1 or group settings. This toolkit will benefit you personally and professionally, so you can support yourself as well as your clients and feel nourished by your work. |
The Language of the BodyA therapeutic and trauma-informed approach to teaching Yoga - 60h continued training course for Yoga Teachers
When people suffer from chronic conditions, pain, stress, anxiety or depression, or they are recovering from a serious injury, or maybe going through treatment for something, they more and more often turn to body-mind practices, including Yoga, to help them find more ease and comfort, to manage the severity and frequency of flair-ups, and to speed up recovery. However, their condition probably means, that the ‘normal’ Yoga class is not appropriate for them and they end up feeling more overwhelmed. |
BreathworkBreathing is an act of generosity where we are both giver and receiver - with every exhalation we give to the plants and trees and with every inhalation we are given life anew. However, breathing “fully in our out” may not mean deep breathing as truly relaxed breathing is often very subtle, perhaps even imperceptible. Learn how to give your breathing back to the intelligence of your body so that every breath is nourishing you on all levels.
