Community Reiki & Nidra - Where Deep Rest Meets Healing (low cost event) ~ with Martina
STUDIO
Next Date: Saturday 27th April (every last Saturday of the month) Time: 18:00-19:30 Contribution: 15€ (saving you 75% of the cost of a private Reiki and Nidra session) |
Moments of quietude where deep rest meets healing
An invitation to experience two healing arts at once, in the heart of Lisbon. We begin by creating a comfortable cocoon, and as music soothes your practice, you as a group will continuously receive 45 minutes of uninterrupted Reiki - the art of energy healing. We follow by a guided yoga nidra visualisation meditation to surrender into complete rest and ease. The art of rest, known as yogic sleep, invites you to open your heart and hear its rhythm. It invites you to experience complete relaxation allowing only an inner awareness of your spirit to be discovered and held. It invites you to look within for all that you desire and honour it by allowing it to surface. We intend to integrate a sense of belonging during the Yoga Nidra and dissolve any physical and emotional blocks whilst receiving Reiki. We end by returning to our cosy space feeling lighter and well-rested, calmer and realigned.
What might you take away with you from this workshop? Hopefully nothing :) We are intending to leave things behind instead; to leave lighter than when we arrived. The group treatment offers a saving of 75% of the cost of a private Reiki and Nidra session. About Martina Martina is the Creator of Yoga Time YAY! Let's re-connect in this world of disconnect.
We are Beings of relation by Nature, so no wonder we struggle with the modern lifestyle that keeps creating more and more isolation. Living in this conflict is one of the root causes of all the pain we carry around. Thai Yoga Massage is a practice of deep connection between two people and offers a beautiful antidote to this conflict. The main principles of this ancient bodywork are: loving kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity. Thai Yoga Massage is like a meditation in action, with two people on the mat, a sacred dance. And aside from a chance to experience this connection, this workshop is also an opportunity to learn some fun and delicious moves and stretches that feel great to give and to receive. This workshop is an in-depth introduction and exploration of the different facets of the powerful and subtle work of Thai Yoga Massage. After a short overview of the background and history of Thai Yoga Massage, we will spend the time with hands-on learning. By the end you will be able to practice a 45-minute sequence, that is easy and effective. Discover how with a relatively short sequence you can already help someone to release body tension, restore their energy balance, establish a sense of grounding and state of deep relaxation. Your friends and family will be forever grateful. If you are a yoga teacher or bodyworker already, you will also gain some moves you can apply in your existing work, improve your hands-on adjustment and sense of touch. This workshop will be taught in English, but Portuguese translation can be provided if necessary. |

The mixture of movement and stillness is a treat for your nervous system and will help to ease stress and anxiety held in the body and mind. To relax is to rest deeply and when we set aside time to truly rest and relax we let our system renew and recover from daily stresses and strains, we let the body & mind do what it needs to do to re-balance. Here we can find some inner stillness and connection. Scaravelli inspired Yoga Immersions ~ with Katrin
STUDIO & ONLINE
Next date: TBC Time: 10:30-12:30 Price: €20 |
A chance to deepen your practice and to explore.
A fun and in-depth exploration of movement and individual postures with the aim of finding more space in the body and accessing deeper strength and a more congruent alignment. We look for ways to create the conditions in the body so great movement feels effortless. In these immersions we will focus on regulating our nervous system and finding ways to return into our own axis, physically, emotionally and mentally. The Scaravelli inspired approach is an invitation to play with gravity, free the breath and find space in the body to allow it to move to its full potential. That way the body can start to work deeper and move more freely into yoga postures, exploring how these openings and connections can help us un-do habitual (and potentially painful) holding patterns. Then we can embark on a journey of restoration and transformation. |
