Yin Yoga Chakra Immersion ~ with Johanna Hellinger

Each of the seven Chakras has a certain relationship with other Chakras and is connected to the 5 Elements: Earth - Water - Fire - Air and Ether.
Learn about the Chakra system and acupressure points that effect the movement of "prana" (energy). Through compression-/decompression and gentle stretches you can effectively stimulate the flow of prana and open your psychic centres (Chakras) for physical, emotional and mental balance.
Yin Yoga originates from Taoist Yoga and is a practise that consists of long held positions close to the ground to gently stretch the joints, ligaments and connective tissue (fascia). We will start with a Bija Mantra Chakra Meditation before we transition into Yin Yoga Positions close to the ground that are held between 3-7 minutes. In order to stay comfortable we will use support like bolsters, blankets and blocks.
The journey takes you from the feet to your head. You are invited into stillness to observe the effect on body and mind. We will incorporate the theory and philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the
5 Element system.
Johanna is a passionate yoga teacher, surfer and Thai massage therapist. After experimenting with different yoga styles and methods, she completed several yoga teacher trainings with Trimurti Yoga School in India on 5 Elements Yoga based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. Back in Lisbon she trained with Hadadi School to be a Thai Yoga Massage therapist. She is excited to share her experience and the benefits of Yin Yoga with you.

Scaravelli inspired Yoga Immersions ~ with Katrin Heuser

A fun and in-depth exploration of movement and individual postures with the aim of finding more space in the body and accessing deeper strength and a more congruent alignment. We look for ways to create the conditions in the body so great movement feels effortless.
In these immersions we will focus on regulating our nervous system and finding ways to return into our own axis, physically, emotionally and mentally.
The Scaravelli inspired approach is an invitation to play with gravity, free the breath and find space in the body to allow it to move to its full potential. That way the body can start to work deeper and move more freely into yoga postures, exploring how these openings and connections can help us un-do habitual (and potentially painful) holding patterns. Then we can embark on a journey of restoration and transformation.

The good news is that it’s never too late to start over and cultivate healthy and positive habits in your life. This Spring lets freshen up your meditation practice with this online Fest!
You’ll be part of a beautiful high vibe group that will get together for two weeks and meditate consistently. The intention is to bring a renewed sense of motivation, intention and fulfilment to your own personal practice and overcome any resistance that you might have been feeling lately.
When you sign up, please suggest themes for the guided meditations as they will be customised to cater to the group’s needs!

How it works:
During two weeks we will gather live on zoom and meditate together for 30 minutes each time. It will happen every other day so you have a chance to try it on your own during our “off” days.

The Liver is the Visionary, helping us identify the direction we want to move in. The Gallbladder is the General, giving us strength and structure to put those plans in motion.
Acupressure is easy to do and can be done anytime, with friends, family or by yourself. It's based on one of the oldest systems of continually practiced health care on the planet, Chinese Medicine, which has been helping people feel good for thousands of years.
Donations for this event will be welcome in support of Little Yoga Space during the current lockdown, so we can hopefully re-open the doors again soon.

Embodied Voice Gathering ~ with Anna Grabner

The Embodied Voice Gathering creates a space for you to reconnect with your voice and experience your voice as an embodied expression of your Self.
The gathering will include a guided breathing and toning practice, to ground yourself and to be more present for anything that needs a more embodied expression in your life right now.
You will be introduced to vocal and non-vocal techniques from Voice Movement Therapy, to understand your vocal instrument within your body better. You will explore the resonant and healing qualities of your voice, and thereby reconnect with your innate voice wisdom and rediscover the sound of a more liberated voice.
You will be safely guided through the practices, hearing only the facilitators voice. This gives you the freedom to sound, move and sing from the comfort of your home.
To integrate the experience and to feel heard, there will be space for sharing and singing.
Anna Grabner is essentially passionate about the healing qualities of the voice. As a singer and psychologist she found an inspiring match in Voice Movement Therapy (VMT). Since her VMT training in 2012 she has been evolving her work based on this safe foundation to assist people in reconnecting with their authenticity through their voice. Anna has found that the playful nature of VMT encourages people to unfold their personal stories in guided voice movement journeys. In her sessions she assists her clients in connecting with their authenticity through movement and voice, inviting them to create their own life poems and songs. Her intention is to provide a safe playground for profound and creative self-expression.

Womb Wisdom Circle is a sacred space where you are invited to relax into who you are, to drop into your womb and heart, to connect to your feminine receptive nature, feel nourished and supported by your inner nature as well as by other women. It is an invitation for you to learn to honour and respect your unique inner rhythms and to tap into your blood and womb wisdom.
We meet every New Moon to share, meditate and plant new seeds of intentions in the darkness of the moon for the upcoming moon cycle. There will be space for connection and sharing, followed by a Wands of Healing light meditation. It is a Taoist Womb healing practice to help you clear any stagnant emotions, transforming feelings of loneliness, hurt, anger, sadness, grief, sexual frustration and any negativity you might be holding in your womb space. When your womb is clear of these emotions and blockages you feel more vitality and creativity, and power to create and manifest your dreams. We will finish with setting our intentions for the coming moon cycle.
