Small Group Mind/Body Therapy Sessions
The intention behind this group is to introduce mind/body therapy and strategies to a wider audience while also making these types of tools more accessible and affordable.
It is Kirsten's belief (rooted in my own experience and also backed by witnessing the experience of others) that all of us have the ability to regulate ourselves. In other words, calm down, persevere, find joy, and live a full life, no matter what we have faced in the past and what the future holds. You might be looking for ways to de-stress, move past indecision, feel more comfortable with others, get a better nights sleep, deal with your anger, confront grief, or work through symptoms of trauma. What you learn in this group can assist with all of these moments and needs. This group is good for people wanting to learn how to be more present (embodied), actual methods on how to support that (mind/body strategies), and why these methods scientifically work (a little bit about your nervous system, vagus nerve and breathing parts). |

- About mind/body strategies and how to use them
Small Group Mind/Body Therapy is an opportunity to be introduced to mind/body and somatic practices for mental health support. My other intention is to help you find strategies that work for you as both an intervention during difficult times, and as a preventative to help you fill your cup (so to speak) so when times get tough you can draw from your reserves. You cannot pour from an empty vessel.
This group setting is an opportunity to get to know more about mind/body modalities in a supportive and affordable setting, a chance to figure out what strategies you are liking and are working for you from the ones that we do, and exposure to different tools and methods. There is no experience or knowledge required.

While being live online is always the best way to really immerse yourself in the experience, I understand that it might no be possible for you. Recordings of the sessions will be provided on a secure learning platform after each session. Instructions on how to access everything will be given during the first week of session. Recordings will be edited for the privacy of the participants. Only lecture information and practices will be available in the recordings. No discussions. Space is limited to be sure I can support everyone safely.
When you sign up, be sure to specify which dates you would like to join in. Also, once you register I will send you a quick check in sheet so that I can get to know more about you and how I can support you further.
Don’t worry, it’s all confidential.
