Death & grief exploration

Become more intimate with your mortality, your grief, and those you love.

Death & dying, grief & loss are part of our life story. Everyday life, fear, time, and effort, often make us avoid getting our teeth into this.

Myrthe is a certified birth and end of life doula focusing on the end of life and grief. Through deep taboo-less conversation & sharing, and where suitable, movement, we explore how these topics show up in your life and how they serve you. Integrating this into the here and now is pivotal to creating intimacy.

Benefits

Giving these topics a conscious place in our lives benefits us in various ways:

Death & dying
  • It offers clarity on the options we have at the end of life and how we want to shape it for ourselves
  • It gives insight into areas of our life where we have unfinished business
  • It sheds light on our relationships and the impact they have on our lives
  • It strengthens our sense of presence and living in the moment

Grief & loss
  • Recognise how grief shows up for you in its unique way.
  • Exploring your grief can give you important insight into your well-being
  • Allowing dedicated space and time to process your grief brings in new opportunities for healing
  • Processing grief creates space for other areas of your life to flourish

What other people say

Myrthe has helped me get through the loss of my mother. My mother died suddenly, and this has been the hardest loss I have ever experienced.

With Myrthe’s help I have been able to respect my mother’s final wishes, and right now, I am able to create my life in her name and keep her memory live in a way that feels truly aligned to how I love her.

Myrthe provided a space that is indescribable in which I could heal and continue to do so.”

Facilitator Myrthe Peters

Myrthe Peters
Myrthe is a certified birth and end-of-life doula, offering people choice and companionship during life’s most significant transitions. The end-of-life space is one of her biggest passions, and she firmly believes that embracing this particular space as an entire chapter opens up a whole new experience of life.

She creates a safe space for individuals and groups to explore and experience death and dying, grief and loss. This space is characterised by comforting transparency, bridge-building between the medical world and our human experience, and simple ways to integrate new perspectives.

Additionally, working with altered states of consciousness also takes an important place in her work as this can be a powerful catalyst for healing, becoming familiar with death and grief and, therefore, living life more fully.
