Reframing your Fascia ~ 6-week online course with Kirsten Wilkinson
Are you feeling stuck or stagnant in your current wellness routine? Are you noticing that your flexibility isn’t what it used to be? Are you wanting to improve your posture? Do you have lower back pain, headaches, or other body aches that seem to have no source or reason?
If the answer to any of these question was “yes”, then it might be your fascia trying to tell you something.
Our fascia holds memory. It is connective, separating, supportive and a major sensory and communication organ in our bodies. It holds together and separates all of our muscles, bones, ligaments, internal organs, and tendons while absorbing impact from daily life. But, our fascia can become damaged, brittle, and misaligned, causing other health symptoms, pain, and stiffness in our bodies.
In this 6 week course we will be exploring practices, stretches, yoga asana, and breathing exercises that will safely and gradually initiate a reframing and repairing of our fascia. We will move, expand and massage our fascia in order to bring better inter-body communication, joint and muscle fluidity, flexibility, and sensory clarity through this amazing gateway.
The approach of this class is based on both scientific methodology and personal exploration. Kirsten focuses on 5 of the 12 major fascial lines in our bodies for this series.
Classes will include breathing exercises, elongating asana flows, connective sequencing for specific intentions within the body, invitational language, as well as extra resources, videos, articles, and practices you can explore on your own to keep your fascia fluid.
