Exploring Yoga Nidra ~ 6-week online course with Kirsten Wilkinson
Do you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Are you feeling moderate or intense moments of overwhelm. Are you interested in expanding your post traumatic recovery? Have you heard of Yoga Nidra, but weren’t sure if it was for you?
If the answer to any of these question is “yes”, then it is time to take this opportunity and explore Yoga Nidra with Kirsten at Healing Motion.
Yoga Nidra is sometimes referred to as “sleep yoga”, however, the practice has much deeper layers that include the discovery of our heartfelt mission or desire, how we can build intention to achieve those goals, and maintaining our safe container through resources that assist us in staying present during difficult times.
In this 6-week course you will transition from a short gentle flow movement sequences into voice guided imagery and sensation menus that will awaken your inner intentions and expand your experiences of wakeful rest and deep, deep relaxation.
Yoga Nidra is a dualistic and holistic practice that works from a place of opposites to assist you in finding your truth, live you integrity, and restore yourself from within. Kirsten will use techniques from both traditional methodologies created by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, and more modern, trauma informed methods from Dr Richard Miller’s iRest approach.
