It all started with a conversation I had with a friend. He recommended a fasting plan he did for a week, it took 3 hard days for him and then he said that he was buzzing with energy. I have heard about this type of fasting before and considered it as a good idea to keep your body healthy and support spiritual practises by feeling lighter and less distracted. I never tried it before though, because i didn't want to feel lethargic or drained due to the lack of food.
What can you do to improve your immune function? Contrary to what you might have heard, the answer is a lot. Some of it's probably not news: sleep enough and eat lots of fruits, veggies and fresh unprocessed food.
